We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated and versatile Warehouse Manager who has experience with lean manufacturing processes, 5s and strong people management skills.

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager who has demonstrable success within manufacturing of leading an efficient team and department.

The business has been developing and evolving for a number of years, recently winning ‘North East Business of the Year’. We have come to the end of the beginning of the Tharsus journey and the business is accelerating with great confidence.

In the last few years we’ve grown massively, we doubled in size last year and so we are looking for people who share our passion for technology and innovation to join the team and progress with us.

Our ‘world-class’ Northumberland HQ facility is in an easily accessible location with a great quality of life in Blyth, South East Northumberland.

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll be providing strong management and leadership while developing the warehouse function helping to create added value processes across the warehouse
  • Through identifying departmental needs you’ll implement improvements where necessary. Creating the necessary procedures to develop an efficient and effective warehouse department to compliment versatile manufacturing processes. You’ll enable us to make what we do well even better
  • You’ll be responsible for the allocation and storage of parts and materials prior to issuing to production, including kitting of parts to allow for modular assembly
  • Controlling receipt of both standard and manufactured items of various types, size and weight you’ll drive performance to deliver KPIs

We’d love you to have:

  • Proven success transforming a warehouse department into a successful operation within a manufacturing environment
  • A background in leading and developing successful teams
  • Experience identifying opportunities and implementing process improvements
  • Experience with lean manufacturing processes and 5s
  • Experience in Health & Safety
  • Great interpersonal, presentational and influencing skills at all levels.
