As part of this we are continuing to develop our NPI and manufacturing teams and are looking for a PDM Engineer to join us. We have a great ‘can do’ culture, with our people being given real responsibility early on in their career.
We work in an easily accessible location in Blyth, South East Northumberland.
What you’ll do:
You will take full responsibility for the management and publication of product data, ensuring you are capturing and maintaining key information of products through their entire development.
You will be required to manage the execution of engineering changes throughout the cycle from inception of change request all the way through to communication of changes, ensuring disciplined closure routines are upheld.
You will play an integral role at the heart of many business areas collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and quality functions to fully understand and distill engineering change requests and facilitate change control board discussions.
We’d love you to have:
Strong degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Experience managing and applying product data across product and component lifecycles.
Experience in leading work multiple disciplines and managing key stakeholders.
A real attention to detail as well as being obsessed with organising.
The ability to interrogate and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong decision-making skills & ability to influence and challenge at all levels within the business
Strong abilities within MS office
Experience with PDM and/or PLM systems preferred
